Best messaging app out there, open source, Privacy Centred , flexible and very fast. Kills facebook’s whatsapp, is actually serious about messaging and making life better than being focused on spying on you like whatsapp and facebook. Send any file type (WOOW) Send files up to 1.5gb (WOOOW) Multiplatform and not stuck to 1 device , except for secret chats which is expected to remain secret (DUHH!!) I mean if you simply care for your business or family or children then this is the way to go we have to make a point to the world that our privacy still matters and should never be a target of marketing or whatever sick crap these other people are doing to you… Sieze your own lives… take control

I love Telegram, it’s great! I’ve been using it for over 2 years now. You get all of the great features of Telegram in this client, and most of them work well, though the client just seems to be loaded with bugs. Just getting it out of the way now, one of the most frustrating things is that all of the timestamps are marked in 12 hour time despite my system settings being in 24 hour time. There’s no way to change this from within the Telegram client. I am using the latest version of El Capitan (non-beta). Hoping the developer sees this: -If you set a profile photo, the history gets distorted and you have to relaunch the client for it to work again -Sometimes it marks me as offline when really the client is still open and I am interacting within it -I switch between my 13 inch Mac display to a 27 inch external display and if I go back to my 13 inch, the time font is “blurry” and so are most user’s photos. Very weird. I have to again reboot the client for them to not be blurry. -File downloading and uploading usually hangs every time I want to use it, have to quit and open the whole client to get it to work one time (and no, it’s not my Internet speed) -Photos take forever to load usually (maybe between 30 seconds and 2 minutes without reloading the whole client). They don’t even load they just sit there for a while and then the client decides it should download them. Not bugs, but general feedback: -The icon in the top bar doesn’t do much. Who wants to use it when all you can do is create a new chat? It would be great if it showed your previous 3 chats which you could click to jump to them quickly. Otherwise great work from the developer. Thank you so much for all of your hard work and keep it up!

I like this app a lot, only that when sending GIFs it saves the videos in downloads, would like an option not not have those saved.

Hello After to update it become unusable, first frozen and after it crashed.

The best app out there. All messages are encrypted, but there are secret chats with self-destruction features, and guarenteed safety. The chat search feature is really powerful, the quote & reply features are amazing, and the UI is just superb. Along with that, there is the cross platform capabilities. Love this app.

Telegram is phenominally faster than imessage/messages. I find when you switch between the Mac OS app, and the iOS app, it is smooth and previous messages appear instantly. For the Mac OS app I would hope to see a better layout for messages like the iOS application. The very white background does not look nice. It seems very washed out. Apart from that the app is great!

Don’t update. The latest update makes it so that chats cannot be received.

App’s running is great but in near future “iCloud Sync” is a must. Keep developing!

Hey guys thanks for good work, I’m using Telegram all the time, love to use it on my Mac too, Windows and especially Linux needs messenger too.

Consumes too much CPU and memory. Plaese optimize it.

We want to support urgently Turkish language

It’s smotth, simple and fast… Giving privacy, multi-platform support and reliability. So why not 5 stars? There are still some defects. One is lack of adding user to group. And this TableView in setting should disable clicking on shole cell but only on labels. Could be more fun if audio recording was available like in iOS app!

I really like this app but, 1. latest verstion gives us feature that chashes whole app: Tapping and releasing microphone icon crashes app - i cannot send voice messages. 2. The other thing is lack of „night mode” or dark theme. 3. Last thing Default icons (without pictures) have the same color for person who sends and for person who receives. Not all people use pictures so different shades or different colors would be helpful. Apart from that - app is awesome - Keeup up good work :)

After update to 10.9.5 app keep trying to connect with chat but without success

I installed it to continue my secret chats on the desktop. But they don’t sync and there seems to be no way to create them.

I use lots of apps every single day, every single moment. Most of them have plenty of various bugs and don’t work properly all the time. Telegram is different - I have never had ANY bugs with it, and, very often, developers update it with „bug fixes” - I don’t know what that bugs are. It works perfectly, in nerly every Internet conditions and looks beatiful with it minimalistic design. For me - the one fully-working app.

This app is the best communicator app i’ve ever used. Every new feature is well thought and works perfectly. Didn’t have any problem with it so far. Too bad that so few people use it :(
